Katie Grand, the editor-in-chief of the still developing LOVE has been a favorite of the fashion crowd since her days at POP. Naturally, a preview at her new September issue of the magazine would be well awaited, but people are beginning to question the magazine already. The ad (pictured above) is not the cover, but we do know that the new issue is supposed to feature "young blood": a crop of creative and inspired young visionaries, like Miley Cyrus, Taylor Momsen and a Jonas brother. Wait, what? Miley, while talented in her own right, is a "creative young visionary" who told ELLE last month that she's "really into high fashion" seems encouraging, but not so much when she cites her new denim collection for Walmart "high fashion". Sorry Miley, you seem to be a tad off here. We can only hope, for the sake of a hopeful, young fashion magazine like LOVE, that the "young blood" here can live up to expectations, or that it's not what it seems, because we so want to love LOVE.
