After the up-in-the-air questions about the future of the Costume Institute Gala, we now know a little more. First of all, Vogue is going nowhere. A spokesperson for the museum confirmed that the magazine would still have its regular role in the event. Sylvana Soto-Ward, who has been at Vogue since 2003, and was previously working as the magazine's accessories editor, is reportedly taking Stephanie Winston's Wolkoff's responsibilities now. The first item on the list, of course, being the gala. FWD was able to get a source to speak on the current condition of the event and its planning:

"According to two well-placed insiders, one very closely involved with the Museum, the 2010 Costume Institute Gala will be a much less splashy affair — a move the museum is said to welcome. The guest list will consist mostly of trustees and benefactors who purchase full-priced tickets instead of the designers, models and Hollywood types who once sat at their comped tables."
